Touch Typing and Piano Playing

Today as I was doing my touch typing practice, I was playing some classic music in the background and at some point I felt that touch typing is somewhat similar to playing the piano. Not that I have played piano for more than 5 hours in my life but I have seen how when at rest the hands of the pianists hang above the keyboard like a hawk or some other predator bird. For a few brief moments I imagined that I was actually playing the piano and I got very fluent in my typing, increasing speed and eliminating errors. I guess I should use my imagination more!
