I first saw the phrase to “think big” in a Donald Trump’s book The Art of the Deal. He said there “As long as you are going to be thinking anyway, think big.” This was said in the context of growing a business as an entrepreneur and the fact is that without thinking big you can’t achieve something big. It is another topic if you should strive to do so. Wesner Moise had recently an excellent post about thinking big. When you have a big dream or a sense of purpose the inevitable obstacles can only slow you down but can not stop you.
Today I stumbled upon a website http://www.thinkbigrevolution.com [via Curt Rosengren]. Take a good look at the ThinkBIG Manifesto and ThinkBIG Credo. You will definitely feel inspired. I listened to one of Michael Port’s podcasts and it was very thought provoking. I have already downloaded all of the audio from the website, which accounts to about 25 hours of listening. Over the course of the next few months I hope to catch up.
