Bulgarian .NET book published

It has already been a week since I got my hard copy of the Bulgarian .NET Programming book. I was told that it sells at a pretty good rate - 7-8 copies per day. Great! The initial quantity in print might not be sufficient, so I better hurry. Two of my colleagues already bought copies but today I got requests for two more. I see the book it is also available for online purchase here. Nearly 800 pages for roughly 5 dollars - that's a deal!

Let's see when I will have a chance to read those sections that I have not edited :) My reading list is pretty full. I am half way through Working Effectively with Legacy Code, I want to finish some day Refactoring: Improving the Design of Existing Code and my next target is Balancing Agility and Discipline: A Guide for the Perplexed. I feel good that I just started the speed reading program Evelyn Wood, which promises to increase my speed with at least 50% in a day while improving my comprehension. I already learned a few simple but clever techniques to increase my concentration while reading. And there is a very different approach: vertical visual reading, which is ways faster than the traditional linear subvocal reading. It is not appropriate for poetry, jokes and dialogue, but for most texts it is applicable. I am very excited about this program, it will be a terrific time saver and a fresh breath of air.
